On Monday morning, the Sultan of Oman, Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, and his delegation were received by Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei, the leader of the Islamic Revolution.
During the meeting, Imam Khamenei emphasized the importance of expanding Iran-Oman relations in all areas for the mutual benefit of both countries. He highlighted the significance of increased cooperation, particularly in light of their shared control over the vital Strait of Hormuz.
In addition, Imam Khamenei expressed his concern over the policy pursued by the Israeli regime and its supporters, which he believes aims to create divisions and disrupt peace in the West Asian region.
He urged all countries in the region to be vigilant and address this issue.
The meeting was attended by Iranian President Sayyed Ebrahim Raisi, emphasizing the importance of the occasion.
The visit of the Sultan of Oman and his delegation to Tehran, which took place at the invitation of the Iranian counterpart, signifies a significant milestone in the relations between the two regional allies.
