Hundreds of thousands followers of the Islamic Movement under the leadership of His Eminence, Ayatollah Sayyid Ibraheem Zakzaky (H) from Kano, began their symbolic Arba’een trek today, Sunday, 10th August, marching toward Zaria in commemoration of the fourthy (40) days of Imam Hussain’s (AS) sacrifice in Karbala after his martyrdom. The trekkers were practically trekking, chanting “Labbaika Ya Hussain, free Palestine".
The participants strongly condermed the ongoing Israeli warfare of starvation in Gaza while denouncing oppression, corruption, and injustice, aligning their struggle with that of Imam Hussain (pbuh) in Karbala against all manners of tyranny and oppression.
