The Russian Defense Ministry has announced the successful repulsion of a Ukrainian attack in the Solidar region. According to the Ministry, over 1,185 Ukrainian soldiers and mercenaries were neutralized during the operation. Additionally, a fighter aircraft and 25 drones were shot down, while US-made weapons stores were destroyed.
In the Kharkov region, Russian forces effectively countered Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups along the Kobyansk axis. Sixty Ukrainian soldiers were eliminated, and two combat vehicles and US-made artillery were destroyed in the process. These actions were part of the ongoing special military operation, as outlined in the Ministry's daily statement.
The Russian air defense systems successfully downed a Ukrainian Su-27 fighter near the village of Chasov Yar in the Donetsk People's Republic. Furthermore, three missiles from the Himars and Yurgen multiple launch missile systems were intercepted. Additionally, 25 Ukrainian drones were destroyed across the Luhansk and Donetsk republics, as well as in the regions of Zaporozhye and Kherson.
On the southern Donetsk and Zaporozhye axes, Russian forces eliminated 110 Ukrainian soldiers, while self-propelled artillery was rendered inoperable. In the Kherson axis, a further 40 Ukrainian soldiers were neutralized, and an American-made M777 artillery system, along with a self-propelled artillery base, were destroyed.
