Hezbollah Secretary General, His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, stressed that the resistance in Gaza successfully thwarted the Israeli enemy's attempts to restore its deterrence power. Despite facing field and political pressures, the resistance remained strong.
Speaking at an event commemorating the seventh anniversary of the martyrdom of resistance leader Sayyed Mustafa Badreddine [Zolfiqar], Sayyed Nasrallah stated that the resistance is determined to continue the battle under specific conditions. He emphasized that any future assassination of resistance fighters or leaders in Gaza would lead to a large-scale confrontation.
Sayyed Nasrallah highlighted that the battle in Gaza holds significance beyond the strip itself; its impact extends to the entire region. He also mentioned that Hezbollah maintains continuous communication with the resistance command in Gaza and expressed the readiness of the Lebanese resistance group to provide support whenever necessary.
Offering condolences to the Palestinian people and resistance factions, especially the Al-Quds Brigades, for the martyrs who were assassinated in Israeli strikes on Gaza, Sayyed Nasrallah also mourned the martyrdom of Palestinian detainee Sheikh Khader Adnan.
Praising Sayyed Zolfiqar for his achievements, including his martyrdom, Sayyed Nasrallah described him as a deeply understanding and strategic-minded leader, expressing admiration for his qualities.
Regarding regional developments, Sayyed Nasrallah emphasized the importance of approaching realities honestly. He stated that those who believed Israel would remain in Lebanon and that Lebanon had entered an Israeli era were proven wrong. Their miscalculations led to the collapse of their bets and culture.
Discussing the Gaza situation, Sayyed Nasrallah explained that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu initiated the current aggression by assassinating members of the Al-Quds Brigades, along with women and children. He criticized the international silence on these acts and condemned the US for preventing the UN Security Council from condemning Israel for targeting Gazan civilians.
Analyzing Netanyahu's motives for the aggression, Sayyed Nasrallah pointed out that the Israeli Prime Minister aimed to restore and rebuild his deterrence, divert attention from internal crises, address government divisions, and improve his political and electoral situation. However, Netanyahu's calculations failed as he decided to attack the Islamic Jihad while sparing other factions, causing chaos within the resistance environment.
Sayyed Nasrallah commended the wisdom and calmness displayed by the Islamic Jihad after the assassination of its military leaders. He noted that the Al-Quds Brigades established a united stance with the Qassam Brigades, which confused the enemy that was anticipating a reaction. The resistance's strategic handling of the situation prevented the enemy from achieving its goals.
The Hezbollah leader praised the resilience of the Palestinian and regional resistance movements, emphasizing that they were capable of swiftly rebuilding their leadership. He highlighted that the resistance movements did not weaken despite the assassination of their leaders, and their capabilities remained intact. The blood shed in defense of the cause only served to further strengthen their resolve.

He reiterated that the Palestinian resistance did not weaken despite the field and political pressures it faced. He emphasized that the current battle was about protecting the security of the Palestinian people and warned that any future assassination attempt would lead to a widespread confrontation.
Regarding Syria, Sayyed Nasrallah regarded Syria's return to the Arab League and the invitation of President Assad to the Arab summit as significant indicators. He emphasized that Syria maintained its position and did not shift its stance or axis. He highlighted the strong strategic relations between Iran and Syria, demonstrated by the Iranian President's visit to Syria.
Sayyed Nasrallah expressed support for positive developments in Syria and associated them with the sacrifices.
