Heart felt condelences to all muslims umma, on the poignant martyrdom anniversary of the 9th infallible heir of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (S).
On this occasion, freedom fighters likes to express our condolences to Almighty Allah, his holy Prophet, and his progeny, and our humble leader Sayyid Ibraheem Zakzaky (H) for the anniversary of imam Muhammad al- Jawad martyrdom.
About Imam al- Jawad (As) in brief.
His mother name was "Sabika", who according to reports, was a maidservant descending from "Mariya al- Qibdiyya". She was also called with the names; "Durra", "Khayzuran", "Rayhana", and Sukayna.
His father name was Imam Ali Arridha (AS) the eighth of the twelve Imam's, he was a descendant of Ali bin Abi Talib (As) and Fatima, who were the cousin and the daughter of Holy prophet (SAWA) respectively.
His Birth; Muhammad al- Jawad was born in Medina, or in a village near Medina founded by his grandfather "Musa al- Kazim". Sources seems to agree that he was born in 195 AH, (810-811 CE), but the exact date is disputed mid Ramadan 195(mid- June 811 CE) as the birthday of Muhammad al- Jawad.
His Tittle; Al Taqi (The pious).
His Kunyat; Abu Ali.
His Martyrdom; The holy Imam (As) was martyred in Baghdad in the year 220 AH, on the 29th of Zul Qa'adah, Imam (As) was poisoned by his disaffected wife, by the instigation of her uncle, Al mu'utasim to Imam al- Jawad.
His Grave; Imam (As) was buried in Samarra in Iraq.
