In another unfortunate incident for US President Joe Biden, he stumbled and fell during a graduation ceremony at the US Air Force Academy in Colorado on Thursday.
While delivering the commencement address, Biden had just finished shaking hands with a cadet and was making his way back to his seat when he tripped. It seems that he stumbled over a small black sandbag that was on the stage.
The Air Force personnel quickly came to his aid, helping him back up and guiding him to his seat. The incident was captured on video, further highlighting the embarrassing moment.
Despite being 80 years old and the oldest person to hold the presidency, Biden's official doctor declared him physically fit earlier this year. This incident follows previous falls the president has experienced during public events. Notably, in November 2020, shortly after his election victory over then-incumbent Donald Trump, Biden broke his foot while playing with a pet dog.
Despite these incidents, Biden recently announced his intention to run for re-election in 2024.
