Abuja, Lagos , Kaduna, Kano, Sokoto, Jos, Bauchi, Gombe, Miduguri, Yobe amongst the Many State that hold Ashura Procession yesterday and it all ended Peacefully except Abuja where a team of security forces that comprises of Soldiers and Police open fire with life ammunition.
Two People sustained fracture on their legs as a result of gunshot while some suffered with teargas and many were arrested.
The procession kicked started immidiately after the juma'at Prayer from Banex Plaza and move toward Wuse market, the mouners were chanting Slogans mentioning Imam Hussain(as) and the tragedy of Karbala at the same time distributing press release which explains why they were on the street.
At the point of dispersion the security forces arrived and open fire after shooting many teagars Canister which make the whole place smoky and unbearable to the People around.
