🩸 Justice Bleeds but Never Dies — Hussain Always Wins

 - by Muhammad Jambaz

The following images of Zaria's 10th Muharram Ashura procession vividly illustrated how the oppressors of the past severed the head of the Prophet’s (PBUH) grandson and raised it upon a spear and how they captured some members of the Prophet’s household, parading them as slaves to the palace of their leader, Yazid Bin Mu’awiyah (L), all in order to conceal the truth against thier tyranny and oppression.

Just as the tyrants of old failed to erase the message of the Prophet by killing his grandson, Imam Hussain (A), in Karbala, likewise, the oppressors of today shall never succeed, God willing.

Ten years ago, the Yazids of this era surrounded over 1,000 followers of Hussain in Zaria — killing infants, children, women, the elderly, and men, in an attempt to silence the Prophet’s (PBUH) message. Yet today, tens of thousands of Hussain’s (A) followers have risen with strength, firmly holding the banner of Labbaika Ya Hussain, at a time when the names of today’s Yazids are fading, just as God Almighty erased the legacy of the Yazid who stood against Imam Hussain (A).

📌 Reflection: This post draws on the spirit of Ashura as witnessed in Zaria, connecting the tragedy of Karbala to present-day struggles against oppression.
