Tragic Accident in Ogun: Policeman Killed and Five Injured as Dangote Truck Collides with Vehicles

 

In Ogun State, a tragic incident occurred as a Dangote Cement truck collided with several vehicles, resulting in the death of a police officer and injuries to five other individuals.

The accident took place on Tuesday night near Saiten Petrol Station along the Abeokuta-Lagos highway. According to the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), a total of nine vehicles were involved in the collision. These included the Dangote truck, a tipper, a yellow bus, an armored tank, a Toyota RAV4, and three motorcycles.

Florence Okpe, the spokesperson for FRSC in Ogun State, stated that the crash impacted eight people, comprising seven adult males and one adult female.
