In yet another example of the ongoing violations perpetrated by Israeli forces against the Palestinian people, a young Palestinian man was tragically martyred, and another sustained injuries during a raid on the Askar Camp in eastern Nablus, located in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.
According to Palestinian medical sources, the incident occurred when two young men engaged in a confrontation with the Israeli occupation forces within the camp. Both individuals sustained live bullet injuries, with one of them succumbing to a critical chest wound and becoming a martyr.
The martyr has been identified as 22-year-old Saleh Sabra, as reported by local sources.
A significant Israeli occupation force conducted the raid on Nablus, approaching from different directions. This resulted in violent clashes taking place not only in the Askar Camp but also in the Al-Masaken Al-Shaabiya Neighborhood within the occupied city.
With the martyrdom of Saleh Sabra, the number of Palestinian martyrs in the West Bank and Gaza since the beginning of the year has risen to 152. Among these, 33 individuals lost their lives during the recent Israeli aggression on Gaza.
